Confederate Reunion Grounds
|
This is more of a muster than a reenactment. On Saturday, November 5th, approximately 100 student historians will be visiting the Confederate Reunion Grounds. We have been invited to give artillery demonstration for the event and talk about artillery and it's uses in the Civil War. The battery will also be having its annual Thankgiving Dinner and meeting. We will be voting on a wide variety of topics, so please make every effort to attend. |
| Sadly, due to the lack of rain in this area of Texas, the battle for Liendo Plantation has been canceled. Sources indicate that the event will resume next year, should conditions be favorable. |
